At the beginning of each academic year it is important for students in all classes to communicate and get to know each other. And seems as students will be in a geography lesson it would only be appropriate for a geography themes ‘getting to know you’.

Students are asked to rotate around the classroom and ask fellow class members to share their geography experiences i.e. littering, initialing their bingo sheets with other class members initials as they mingle. You could incorporate traditional bingo rules such as first to get a line and then first for a full house (depending on the classes geographical experiences).

However one word of caution – instruct students they are not able to go to the same person in the class until they have asked all other class members. So maybe share the total number of students in the class for students to tally as they go. After all cheaters ruin it for everyone else!
