Welcome to my blog! My name is K.Peppin (aka Mrs Geography).

I completed my Geography PGCE at Edge Hill University in 2013 and in December 2014 I became Second in Department for Geography in a High School and Sixth Form College in North West England.

In 2016, I had the privilege to be included in Teaching Geography for a ‘need to know’ introductory lesson on coasts (available here) developing my urge to share my ideas and resources more widely.

So in August 2016, I decided to start this blog in addition to twitter (@Mrs_Geography), as a means of disseminating good practice by providing each idea in one centrally accessible location. Both serve as a platform for me to regularly share strategies and resources, I or others (guest posts) have created, trialled and used in the classroom, that I believe could be beneficial to you!

As a devoted geographer I continuously aim to inspire the next generation of geographers by making their classroom learning environment as positive and enjoyable as possible. And ultimately assist you, through this blog, to do the same!

My resources are widely available through this blog, TES, TeachitGeography and YouTube (working progress) to benefit fellow teachers and students, whilst hopefully reducing your need to create such resources yourself thus reducing your workload.

I just hope you find it useful!
