Hello, my name is K.Peppin,
I have a Geography 2:1 BSc with Hons from the University of Manchester, and completed my Geography PGCE at Edge Hill University in 2013. I have been teaching since 2013 and I am currently employed as Second in Department for Geography in a High School and Sixth Form College in North West England.
I am an extremely energetic and enthusiastic Georgaphy teacher, a fellow ‘tweeter’ or ‘tweacher’ (@Mrs_Geography) and have also been published in Teaching Geography, Summer 2016 – Which country has the longest coastline?
I was inspired to pursue Geography as a teaching subject from my own high school Geography teacher, based on her constant encouragement and determination which promoted my own love and passion for the subject!
My true passion is to inspire the next generation of Geographers by making their classroom learning environment as enjoyable as possible. As a committed practitioner I aspire to try, share and adapt both new and existing teaching and learning ideas, all of which can be accessed on my TES Shop where I aim to regularly upload resources included on this blog, as well as a few extras.
I use this blog as a platform to share some resources I have created and/or will create in the future. Although I use this blog to share ideas that I believe have been successful in my teaching practice, but beware some may not work the same for you.
I also share additional teaching and learning ideas from other bloggers and tweeters out there through twitter, which can also be found at the bottom of this blog.
